If you\u2019re driving fast, get into the left lane. If you\u2019re going slow, get into the right lane. Isn\u2019t that what we learned in driving school? At times, theses \u201crules\u201d are abused because of a lack of knowledge of state laws.<\/p>\n<p>Every state has some type of law in place in reference to driving in the left lane. Some, including Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the law says you should only use the left lane to pass or turn left. Photo Courtesy: Vox.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Police officers have been cracking down on both drivers that hang out in the left lane and drivers that drive too slowly in the left lane. Reason being? Impedes traffic and could cause an accident.<\/p>\n<p>According to recent studies, just a few cars that are driving slow and obstructing traffic cause traffic jams.
